Elitefile launches global sales drive
Software helps businesses get more out of their IT investment
An innovative new computer software product developed out of the "Entrepreneurs for the Future Centre" at Birmingham Science Science Park Aston promises to help thousands of businesses reduce file administration time by using business software applications more efficiently is set to be launched in Birmingham.
The official unveiling of award-winning Elitefile this month will mark the climax of a two-year period of intensive activity including investment, research, development and testing by a team of software specialists led by Stuart Farmer.
Stuart, managing director of Birmingham-based Elitesuite, is confident that Elitefile will rapidly gain business customers throughout the UK and is already targeting the US and all other major English-speaking territories.
Elitefile makes the working day more productive and less IT-intensive by reducing the time involved with file searching, viewing, emailing and uploading, turning laborious PC tasks into quick and easy functions.
The launch event will take place at Birmingham Science Park on June 15, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Computer users, software resellers and affiliates are invited to attend. To book, email http://elitesuitesoftware.eventbrite.com
The company will spell out its vision and present an Elitefile case study involving Breslins Accountants, clearly demonstrating from a client perspective how the product helped them to reduce file administration time and get more value from their existing software applications. Microsoft-certified IT consultant Richard Tubb will also address the meeting.
Companies already using Elitefile on a trial basis include MW Air Freight near Manchester Airport, Birmingham-based Breslins, and Stan Robinson’s Transport in Stafford, and it is proving to be an invaluable aid.
Based at Birmingham Science Park, Elitesuite has received support from the Advantage West Midlands ICT Cluster Fund and Business Link during the product development stages.
Mr Farmer, a member of the ICT Excellence Club, said the product was developed to reduce the disproportionate amount of time it was taking users to perform simple tasks such as file searching, previewing and emailing from Microsoft platforms.
“We addressed this problem by creating a universal solution that speeds up file processing and distribution and makes other applications, such as CRM and Sharepoint, easier to use and more productive as a result. The software is simple to download and affordable to both the corporate and SME sector.”
He added: “We want to work with the partner network created by Microsoft and other technology providers. We are also looking to expand into overseas markets including the US and all English-speaking territories.”
